What an exciting week this is for combat sports. Saturday October 24 gave us UFC 104 "Machida vs Rua" and Dream 12 "cage of the rising sun."

Now, it's time for the K-1 World Max finals. The final four will feature two exciting semi-final bouts featuring Holland's Andy Souwer vs Thailand's  Buakaw Por. Pramuk. The second semi-final bout will feature Japanes fighter Yuya Yamato vs Italy's Giorgio Petrosyan. .

Giorgio Petrosyan is favored by many to win the K-1 MAX Finals tournament this year. In the semi-final bout Petrosyan is scheduled to fight Yuya Yamomoto, an opponent who isn't supposed to pose much of a threat to Giorgio. This should be an easy victory for the Italian as he will most likely face the winner of Buakaw vs Sauwer.

Buakaw Por. Pramuk and Andy Souwer have faced each other twice in the Finals, each getting a win. This will be the third and perhaps last time these two great combatants will meet as Buakaw looks to retire from K-1. This should be a great bout, the combatants have a history with each other and both want to prove a point. This will be a tough bout and the winner will be forced to contend with what should be a fresh Petrosyan.

Petrosyan also has history with both Buakaw and Sower. In 2007 Petrosyan and Por. Pramuk fought a 5 round war that was rules a draw and in Febuary of 2009, Andy Sower lost a 4 round decison to Giorgio.

The rest of the night will not disappoint as well, there are many great bouts that will be taking place. The Yokohama Arena in Kanagawa Japan should be electric. Don't miss out.

We will post the fight here mmalogic.net after they happen.
